Customer Documents

What Are Customer Documents?

Documents are internal reference files attached to a customer's profile. They are for your team's use only — they are never sent to the customer.

Use documents to store:

  • Signed contracts or agreements
  • Internal notes or case files
  • Screenshots of correspondence
  • Any supporting documentation

Looking to send files to customers? Use Invoices instead — invoices can be automatically attached to chase emails.


Upload a Document

  1. Open a customer's profile
  2. Scroll to the Documents section (below Invoices)
  3. Drag and drop a file, or click to browse
  4. Any file type is accepted (PDF, images, Word, Excel, etc.)
  5. The document appears in the list immediately

Download or Delete

  • Click the download icon to save a copy
  • Click the delete icon to permanently remove the document
