Add-On Packages — purchase additional credits
Why Purchase Add-On Packages?
If you reach your monthly SMS or email limit before the end of the month, all sends are blocked until:
- The next monthly reset (1st of the month), OR
- You purchase an add-on package (immediate)
Types of Packages Available

Available packages and their prices are listed on the Billing page. All subscription tiers can purchase add-on packages.
Purchase an Add-On Package
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Scroll to the Add-on packages section
- Review available packages (name, credits included, price)
- Click Purchase next to the desired package
- Complete the payment
- Your credit balance is updated immediately
How Credits Work
Credit Balance
Your credit balance is visible in Settings → Billing:
- Remaining SMS credits: X credits available
- Remaining email credits: X credits available
Usage Order
When you send an SMS or email:
- Paymely first checks your monthly plan quota
- If quota exhausted → uses add-on credits
- If credits exhausted too → send blocked
Credit Validity
Unlike the monthly quota (which resets to zero on the 1st), add-on credits carry over month to month and accumulate. However, add-on credits expire 12 months after purchase. Expired credits are visible in your billing history with their expiry date.
View Credit Usage History
Your add-on purchase history is visible in the Billing History section on the Billing page. Each purchase lists:
- Purchase date
- Package type
- Credits purchased
- Amount paid
- Status (paid, pending, failed)
FAQ
What if I buy a package and the month ends? Package credits don't reset monthly — they remain available until depleted or until they expire (12 months after purchase).
Can I buy multiple packages of the same type? Yes — credits accumulate. If you buy 500 SMS and have 200 remaining from a previous purchase, you'll have 700 SMS credits.
Is there a minimum purchase? Packages are sold in predefined lots. The available options and prices are shown on the Billing page.
How will I know when I need one soon? You'll receive automatic email alerts at 80% and 95% usage. See the article Usage Alerts for details.
